Menu Planning

Stocking what you need and will use

Knowing what you want to cook and what you can based on what is in your refrigerator, freezer, or pantry can be two different things!

Planning out what to make for meals ahead of time can:

  • Reduce stress

  • Empower anyone to get a meal started

  • Reduce food waste

  • Lower grocery costs

Class Description

Class can be one-on-one or in a group.
  • Evaluation: What would you like to cook regularly? Identify meals that appeal to you and your family, that fit within the time you have, and that are within the amount of effort you feel comfortable with.

  • Plan: Are there nights that you will not have time to cook a full meal? Plan for that in advance! In the evenings, when you have time, create a game plan so you spend less time cooking and cleaning and more time with your friends, family, roommates, etc.

  • Lists: Where and when will you go shopping? How do you plan your trip? Create a plan to pick up what you will need.

  • Store: When you bring your ingredients home, how will they be stored so that you see them when you need them?

Menu Planning class pairs well with In-Home Consultation and/or Field Trips
